We can not talk about radium without talking about Marie Curie. A woman scientist in the early decades of the 20th century. She endured prejudice being a woman and developing studies in a new, unknoned field: radioactivity. In the years dedicated to this, she discovered two new elements with this features: radium and polonium.
Until this day, she is the only person to gain two Nobel prizes, one in chemistry and the other in physics. Her determination and strength were truly amazing, and she dedicated her life to what she believed was right and fought everyday for it.
