Clair Couture was born in 2018 by the hands of Joana Macedo. Trying to find her way, after a degree in Microbiology and other one in Public Relations, she discovered her passion for fashion and launched her dream.

“The aim was to create a brand that empower women, starting from the way they look and going deeper into their self-esteem and self worth.”, says the founder, CEO & Directive Executive Joana Macedo. In that attend she based her collection in 3 great women in history, that she always admires: Coco Chanel, Frida Kahlo and Madame Curie. So all Clair Couture’s pieces tells a story about one of them, hopping their example inspire women to be brave, happy and true to themselves! As we all should be.

In addition, the brand gives tribute to the nobel art of couture. All pieces are made in an artisan way, making sure that the bases of couture are there. So the cuts are thought to be elegante and to enhance the female figure. Materials are of high quality, seams are made to be impeccable, the attention to detail is extremely important. In other words, the quality in the production system is a must have for us. Our purpose is to make luxury affordable and make women feel as a true gem.

Taking this in mind, it is always important too make pieces that are practical and comfortable for several social occasions, work events and even the day to day. But not in a borring and blending way. Our pieces are made to stand out, to turn heads and they absolutely do, with bold materials and color options, making women feel confident and worthfull.
